Christine Huynh started out as a medical technologist, but quickly realized she wanted to be more involved in patient care. Having already earned a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she went on to gain her Master’s Physician Assistant Studies from The University Of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Surgery was Christine’s favorite rotation in PA school, as she loved to use her hands and see immediate results after the operation.
Born in Vietnam, Christine emigrated to the U.S. with her family when she was two. She grew up in California and North Carolina, playing softball and running cross-country in high school, and then playing intramural softball and flag football in college. Christine is also a huge Tar Heels basketball fan — March Madness is her favorite time of year.
Christine joins us from Plano Orthopedics Sports Medicine and Spine Center, where she worked in the foot and ankle specialty group. When she’s not assisting her patients, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, son and newborn daughter. She loves to travel and has visited more than 13 different countries. Christine also enjoys reading murder mysteries, kickboxing, and playing racquetball.
